From vial to assay
General handling practice for lyophilized research peptides. Always follow your institution's procedures.

Receive & log
Record the Lot ID and Batch ID against the Certificate of Analysis before the vial enters storage.
- 02
Store dry
Keep lyophilized vials sealed, cold (−20 °C for long-term storage) and away from light and moisture.
- 03
Equilibrate
Let the vial reach room temperature before opening, so condensation does not reach the powder.
- 04
Reconstitute
Add sterile diluent slowly down the vial wall and swirl gently — do not shake. Use the calculator above for concentration.
- 05
Aliquot & chill
Split the solution into single-use aliquots, refrigerate at 2–8 °C, and avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
